Thanos Mitsalas performs Sergio Assad’s compositions and offers the audience a mystic journey through space and time:

Ancient Greece (Seikilos Epitaph's Fantasy), Rio de Janeiro through the eyes and the musical descriptions (Fantasia Carioca), his testimonial to the Persian poet / musician Barbad who lived in the 7th century A.D. (Barbad’s Fables) and his musical description of the “Journey to the West” of the infamous “Monkey King” based on the Chinese epic of the 16th century A.D.

The inexhaustible multicultural musical DNA of the legendary guitarist and composer is transmuted into sound through the fingers of the performer who bears the seal of approval of the creator himself.
