“Open Connections”

Concert with Synola favorite music selections (Music Ensembles of the University of Thessaly)

This concert consists of musical selections from the members of the musical ensembles (Synola), originating from a variety of musical backgrounds: Old Rock Classics, pop ballads, known traditional songs (rebetika), Éntekhno greek songs, classical compositions and exciting adaptations/covers of traditional folk songs.

Within this musical mosaic there are also hosted personal compositions of the students, both in lyrics and music.

This concert is the result of a wider musical workshop that aims towards the collective study and the creative expression of music and song.

An orchestra comprised of guitars, both acoustic and classical, two flutes, a violin, cello and piano, accompany the voices of the students that perform the songs either solo or with background choral ensemble.
